A Frigid Dip

Dust of Snow
by Robert Frost

“The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree

Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.”

Today the sea was my crow. It was a bit chilly as today was overcast and windy but a quick dip in the LIS is a sure way to wake you up any time of day. Fingers crossed that this weekend brings a nice sun shinning! I’ll be in for my ice swim this Saturday (weather backup date is Sunday)!

My toes and finger tips were cold but I am not a Popsicle yet!
(My second toe always turns white first in the cold.)
